Masjid Al Farooq was established in October 2016 to serve the Muslim community upon the Qur’an and authentic Sunnah, according to the understanding of the Sahabah (Companions of the Prophet ﷺ) and the righteous predecessors (Salaf).

Since its founding, the masjid has become a welcoming place for worship, learning, and community connection. Open for all five daily prayers, it regularly hosts Islamic lectures, reminders, and educational programs, many of which are also streamed online to benefit a wider audience.

Masjid Al Farooq provides a family-friendly environment, including a spacious outdoor area for families and children. The masjid is led by Imam and teacher Mahmoud Abdel Hafez and Shaykh Sulieman Abdel Hafez, whose guidance and lessons continue to benefit the community.
